ABOUT US

The Cardiff and South East Wales Junior Lawyers Division (JLD) is a group of junior lawyers (ranging from students to qualified lawyers up to 5 years PQE, on the solicitor, barrister or legal executive pathways) from various Firms, Chambers and Universities in South East Wales.

Our committee (led by all volunteers), organise events, training and networking opportunities for junior lawyers, and provide support to and a voice for all junior lawyers in Cardiff and South East Wales. We host various events throughout the year, including collaboration events with other local or legal organisations.

We understand that the early stages of a career in law can be particularly demanding, so the support network of your local JLD can be both comforting and helpful. If you would like to simply network or make friends, learn more about your area of law, or seek advice outside of your current place of study/work, this can be invaluable.
